I know this sounds stupid, probably. But I'm the type of person, who tends to worry more about my eyes, and can put ANY kind of make up on my eyes, but I've never wore foundation of any sort. I want to get this mineral foundation from this girl online, but I literally don't know what to do with it. I mean, obviously I take a foundation brush and put it on. But do I put it on my whole face? And do I have to put the liquid stuff on first? ugh, sorry. How do I go about wearing powder foundation?
First make sure your face is clean, then I suggest putting on a moisturizer something with a sunscreen for your face if you can, as a protection from the sun etc. Then make sure the color is compatible with your face. I noticed you mentioned you are receiving the color from online but does it match your color or close to it? For the liquid-- Use a round or square makeup sponge, start with a dot not to small and not to big and apply it to your face do not forget your eyes, around your nose and under your face, (not your neck-but you do not want a line). Apply it sparingly but evenly not too much you don't want to look like a clown. Then apply powder whether you brush it on or apply it with the powder applicator is your choice. And yes put it on your whole face if you are going to use it-- it will even up the tone no make up is so perfect- make sure you blend it in. If you are using a powder foundation apply it evenly..that's it--practice makes perfect. How do I go about wearing powder foundation?
Simple.
Start off by moisturizing your face (optional), then if you use concealer, put dots of that wherever needed, and blend it in with your foundation or concealer brush. Then, take a big fluffy brush, and apply the powder foundation all over your face. You do NOT need to put a liquid foundation under the powder foundation. Since it is powder, it won't be as much as an overpowering color on your face as liquid would be, so you can put a decent amount on, but just make sure that the face color matches your neck color. You do not need to put any foundation on your neck.
Hope I helped %26amp; Good Luck!

You don't need a primer. You can if you want it makes it last longer. You just take a big fluffy brush and swirl it in the powder foundation and put it all over your face. You can put on more than one layer but make sure you don't cake it on.
* If you use concealer put it on before the powder foundation.
