I currently use cover-girl pressed powder. It seems like my face is more oily with it. I'm a dark skinned black woman with red tones so any dark powder doesn't work because it's too dark. I prefer powder because I don't need a lot of coverage. Any suggestions? What powder/foundation should I use for oily/dry skin.?
if you want to splurge, go for some bareminerals and you will never look back. really. great coverage, lightweight, and totally worth it. Starter kits are usually around $60 but if you were to buy all those pieces separately it would cost a LOTTTT more. What powder/foundation should I use for oily/dry skin.?
You should probably begin by using a moisturizer to help balance your skin, here's the moisturizer that helped me http://www.marykay.com/bvelazquez/skinca鈥?/a>
Or you can try using an oil mattifier to control the oil too

You sound like me two yrs ago. I also used the CG powder foundation and it does make your face oilier. I am in heaven and love clinique clarifying powder foundation it really works. Please try this I know you will be happy. It does cost more but is so worth it. I also like a lighter coverage.
Check it out Clinique.com
I use maybeline loose powder. i can't remmeber exactly what the name is and im too lazy to walk upstairs, haha. but i also have oily skin and it seems to help.
My friend wears mineral makeup from Valana Minerals. The owner/founder is a black woman and she has custom blended the colors to match women of color. http://www.valanaminerals.com/
have u tried studio fix by mac they have a more diverse range - also u can try bare escentuals if u dont have acne prone skin
Use Revlon Colorstay Soft-flex foundation for oily-combination skin. It works very good.
You should use bare minerals make up. It is really good make up and it is good for your skin.
