Is it okay to use liquid concealer on top of powder foundation?

Or should everything be powder?Is it okay to use liquid concealer on top of powder foundation?
It is actually better if your applied with liquid concealer first before you apply your powder foundation.





Putting liquid concealer on top of your powder foundation will not help it last long and will probably get rubbed off really quickly. You want everything to look flawless and last for most of the day. Using the powder on top of your concealer will set it, so it stays put.





1. Moisturize your face with SPF moisturizer before applying your concealer.





2. Apply liquid concealer to cover any imperfections on your skin.





3. Buff in your powder foundation with a flat top kabuki brush or a dense brush. This gives an even finish.

You can do it a few ways. I usually just use liquid concealer under a powder. The powder over the concealer makes it less noticeable and smoother. If liquid concealer doesn't stick to your face well you can put a layer of thin powder, concealer, then a little powder on top. The first layer will help the concealer to stick better and be more even. If you just use powder it will usually take more of it to cover a spot, so you'll have a cakey appearance. I would definately recommend a thin layer of concealer with a thin layer of powder on top.

You're supposed to put concealer on LAST, if you put it on before your powder foundation, then you're just blending the liquid away.
If your going to use a liquid concealer your going to want to apply that first. The trick you always want to remember is ';Wet to Set'; which means anything you apply that is some what liquid (either cream or liquid) set it with a powder.
You can use the powder foundation over the liquid concealer, but you can't use the liquid concealer over the powder. If you want a concealer over foundation, then you need a powder.
You can use liquid concealer, but it should go on before your powder. That way, the powder can set the concealer and hold it in place so that it will last all day.
